North Shoe Care is more than just a brand—it’s the realization of a lifelong dream fueled by passion, purpose, and faith.

My name is Ryan Sabik, and I am the founder of North Shoe Care.

At 11, I discovered the joy of cleaning shoes, transforming a pair from dirty to brand-new using nothing more than a toothbrush and dish soap. The process fascinated me, and at 12, I created my first shoe cleaner, the “RJ Sneaker Cleaner.” I dreamed of seeing my product on the shelves of sneaker stores, but as I grew older, life took me in different directions.

Even though I discontinued my first shoe cleaner, my love for restoring and customizing sneakers never faded. At 16, I started researching how to turn this passion into a real brand, but I hesitated, seeing it as a distant goal. Yet the dream never left me.

One day, everything changed. I heard God’s voice speak to me through Deuteronomy 2:3: “You have circled this mountain long enough. Now turn north.” It was then I realized that my passion for sneakers could align with my purpose—to be a disciple and share His word. That’s how North Shoe Care was born.

God gave me the vision, the foundation, and the resources to bring this dream to life. Today, North is a reflection of my journey—one of perseverance, faith, and the pursuit of excellence.
